"See, I am doing something new!
Now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?" (Is 43:18)
Who?...YOU!
"I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name: you are mine." (Is 43:1)
Why?
"Because you are precious in my eyes
and honored, and I love you" (Is 43:4)
Pope Francis reminds us: "The joy of the gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus. Those who accept his offer of salvation are set free from sin, sorrow, inner emptiness and loneliness. With Christ joy is constantly born anew. ... An evangelizer must never look like someone who has just come back from a funeral!" (Evangelii Gaudium, 1 & 10).
So let's encounter Jesus together, having fun with each other and serving God and our neighbors.
